That's right us Beavers are taking back what's rightfully ours! Whether it be Vancouver or my Montreal Candadiens ( who will kick the Bruins' butts tonight) we will have Lord Stanley's Cup in Canada this year!!!

I can't help wondering why the Bruins fans are in such a hurry to lose to the Flyers again.

They gave it a good shot. When they couldn't cash in on that power play in OT I thought it might not happen.

Habs in 7! Hopefully

Man stood on his head last night, especially that penalty shot in the 3rd. Honestly, no goalie could have stopped the game winner. That thing was a missile

The Habs have a secret weapon...it's called the bruins Power play.

Should be a fun game. Damn shame that this is only the first round. A great 7 game series like this one should be saved for the conference finals

Sorry lobster, you divin' flip-floppin Habs were just put out of their misery by Nathan Horton. Go B's! On to a rematch with the flyers! Hopefully history does not repeat itself this year! Go Dead and Go B's!

Great game, Great series. If you want to advance the B's need to figure out that power play.

Congrats to B's nation

I completely agree with you lobster! The habs power play was awesome in the series especially the last two games and the B's need to wake the F*** up on the power play. It was a great series though and I was not comforatble for any one game until Horton won it in OT last night. What a series, it might have been the best 1st round series of 2011? Who knows. Enjoy your day lobster!

agreed.

But the Bruins have a secret plan of their own to deal w/their 0 for the series PP...when the refs call one on the Habs, the Bruins will politely decline.

Ha. My friend forom Boston said Mike Felger suggested they implement the same rules they do for football and decline the penalty.

Stay out of this. You don't hear us chanting "Go Chelsea!", or "Wolverhampton Wanderers #1!!" do you?

Or is this some misplaced bitterness that provokes you to lend support to anyone coming up against the former colonies? And given that the "anyone" in this case is as good as cheering for France, I am truly apalled.

I have many friends in British Columbia, so if I'm going to follow the fortunes of any NHL team it's going to be the Canucks. If that upsets you, too damn bad, frankly.

As to 'cheering for France', not for the first time I have no idea what you're talking about. Although I don't let that prevent me from responding in my usual intemperate fashion...

My burning hatred for Canada is focused solely on the city of Montreal. It was this blinding force that resulted in my mistaken replacement of Canucks with Canadiens. I have no issue with any of the organizations from the BC area. It's the stinkin' Quebecois that bug the hell out of me.

So, by all means, please continue to support the Canucks, just don't let me hear any cheering for The Habs (or Les Habitantes).
